As high-functioning women, we already possess the skills to be successful dementia care partners. I have created a framework to redefine those skills and apply them in supporting the independence of our loved one.
I have experienced the journey through dementia both as a clinician and family member. Following my parents diagnoses I felt crushed under the weight of a new future with new expectations. What I learned through those struggles is that we can slow the transition and adapt more easily when we allow ourselves to be supported.
In order to support others in their journey I developed a system in which I combine neuroscience, cognitive science, communication strategies and relationship dynamics to provide a unique service designed to maximize the skills of independence. My goal is to support people as they age-in-place following a diagnosis of dementia. You can expect support in connecting with cherished moments, sharpen communication skills while expanding your support system. I am passionate about providing a solution to the experience of isolation memory change often brings.
We CAN have a positive impact.
You don't need to do this alone.
